CAD for Presell and EVT for Engineering Solve Different Problems

A polished render can validate product communication while an ugly prototype answers technical questions.

Current. Current technical engineering note derived from LOUP device, firmware, telephony, audio, OTA and production work.

The useful question in CAD for Presell and EVT for Engineering Solve Different Problems was where the behaviour actually originated. LOUP uses industrial-design CAD for website and presell work while Minewing EVT prototypes remain the platform for audio, control and firmware iteration.

Trying to force one artifact to do both jobs slows both. CAD can converge shape, proportions and visual language without waiting for final electronics; EVT can expose codec, RF, thermal and acoustic problems without needing production cosmetics.

I treated the known-good configuration as a control sample, changed only the layer under investigation, and recorded the regression or improvement before the next experiment. Evidence marker: cad-vs-evt.

Product development moves faster when presentation artifacts and engineering test artifacts have explicit purposes. Keeping the rule explicit means the same decision can be checked again on the next board revision or firmware branch.
